Artwork is one of the hardest items to decide on and yet it can completely transform the space you’re designing. On top of that, trying to find affordable, accessible, and stylish pieces that will stand the test of time is not an easy feat. I’ve spent hours searching for the perfect pieces, so I hope you will find something you love. I wanted to have a slight mix of styles but I would say my personal style leans more modern traditional. Let’s go ahead and see what I’ve found, shall we?
Neutral Transitional Artwork
Show me a neutral abstract piece that I didn’t like. It probably isn’t possible. This piece below is from HomeGoods and the artist is Sarah Brooks. If you can stop into your local store, I highly recommend it. I would say HomeGoods is one of the best places to find artwork for an affordable price. I can’t wait to go again once things with COVID-19 gets better of course!
Coastal Artwork
I might not live near the ocean anymore but a girl came still dream, right? I LOVE how coastal artwork gives off that breezy, effortless, and cozy feeling when you walk into the room. I think we can all agree that even if you don’t live in a beachfront mansion, you can still incorporate that cool California Casual vibe into your home. Texture pieces can also bring that same feeling if you style them in that specific way, as show below in this bedroom. Swoon.
Modern Artwork
Now as I’ve mentioned, I tend to lean more traditional but I stage houses for a living so I have the pleasure of working in lots of different styles (feel free to follow along on instagram to check out my most recent projects here. This particular dining room had cool exposed brick on one side and I wanted to have a statement piece on the other. I think the mixture of black, gold, and natural elements really works in this space. I’ve rounded up some of my favorite modern pieces for you below!
